I haven't been around here for quite some time. With my limited time, I have been creating a lot of stuff for my Zazzle stores.
I wrote an entry about my frustration with Zazzle but it turns out that I was not taking advantage of some of the tools they offer.
I have increased to six stores, though I am planning to condense some of them into my main store. Sales have been better with the increased products and I had a real good sales streak during the holiday season. I could do better with more social networking but I can't get into facebook. I just hear so many bad things about it and the people that abuse it. I have created a business page on Facebook for my store but I am not taking the time to find followers or friends. www.facebook.com/business/dash…
There are three stores that I have been concentration on. The main store is www.zazzle.com/djoneill* . Started out as a place to showcase my cats. Turns out people don't shop there for other peoples pets; unless, of course your pet is an internet sensation like Grumpy Cat. And, again, I don't do enough networking to make my cats viral.
The store that I have, that is getting the volume of sales is www.zazzle.com/talkingbumpers* . The royalty for bumper stickers is small, but I have always liked bumper stickers and now I get to create them. Most of my recent ones have been about Sasquatch. I have heard there is new DNA evidence and the show Bigfoot Hunters is popular so I try to take advantage of the timing.
The third store is www.zazzle.com/chillatmypad* Mouse pads are easy to create and work well with my photography. I am working on matching mugs for most mouse pads and adding a template for people to add their initials to the products.
That is what I have been up to with the tiny bit of free time I find. Work is that necessary evil that takes up the rest.
